Kit Harington’s 2017 April Fool’s Day prank on his girlfriend backfired on him because she didn’t like the look of the actor’s severed head in their refrigerator.
The Game of Thrones star thought it would be a giggle to hide a model of his head in the fridge – but actress Rose Leslie didn’t appreciate the gag.
“My family does April Fools. Her family doesn’t do April Fools,” Kit tells U.K. chat show host Jonathan Ross. “She didn’t know the date and after that she was in tears.
“I was there going, ‘April Fools!’ It didn’t go down well… When my laughing died down, it took some making up… She pretty much told me if I did it ever again that would be it, and I think that’s marriage included.”
Luckily, Leslie had put the prank behind her when Kit proposed this summer (17).
