Kodak Black released from prison

Kodak Black was released from prison early Saturday morning (18Aug18).
The 21-year-old rapper was released from the Broward County Jail early on Saturday under his new alias Bill K Kapri, according to TMZ.com.
The Tunnel Vision rapper was granted a legal name change by a Florida judge, and he hopes it will help give him a “fresh start” following his release, according to his lawyer Bradford Cohen.
Kodak was sentenced to one year in county jail back in April (18) after pleading guilty to two probation violations, including driving on a suspended licence.
He was originally expected to be released in early October but an updated court order from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office slashed his sentence, after a judge agreed to add 30 days to his “time served” stint.
Kodak, born Dieuson Octave, reportedly returned his mother’s house upon his release, and intends to get back in the studio as soon as possible.
