Twilight star Kristen Stewart has been named as the new face of luxury design house Chanel. The actress has been hired to model the French brand’s latest fashion line and the news was announced during the company’s star-studded Metiers D’Art Paris-Dallas runway show in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday (10Dec13).
Stewart’s advertising campaign will be photographed by Chanel’s style guru Karl Lagerfeld and will be released in May, 2014.
She follows in the footsteps of other Chanel ambassadors including Keira Knightley, Brad Pitt, Blake Lively and Vanessa Paradis.
