Kutcher’s “Punk’d” for Two More Years

Looks like Ashton Kutcher, who was recently named one of the hottest 25 bachelors by People magazine, will be “punking” his friends for another two more years.

Music cabler MTV has ordered 20 more episodes of Kutcher‘s sketch half-hour comedy Punk’d, Variety reports. The series, created by Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, debuted in March and is already one of MTV’s top-rated shows with teens.

On the show, Kutcher and his co-stars Dax Shepard and Ryan Pinkston prank many unsuspecting celebrity friends, including Justin Timberlake, Kelly Osbourne, Jessica Biel, Pink and Seth Green.

“MTV is an appealing place for celebrities to come and bring their ideas when they want to reach our audience. Ashton wanted to touch our viewers, and he knew we wouldn’t dilute his vision,” the show’s executive producer Lois Curren told Variety.

Curren, however, said there is no word yet on whether Shepard and Pinkston will return.

“We love them, but they are starting to get recognized,” Curren noted. “But we hope they can come back because I can’t imagine a more talented group.”

The 15-year-old Pinkston, who often poses as a red-carpet interviewer and asks celebrities offensive questions, is set to topline a new series project for MTV. He also stars in Dimension Film’s upcoming ‘tween pic Spy Kids 3 and snagged a role as the son of the only white family on board the maiden flight of an urban airline in the MGM comedy Soul Plane.

Kutcher, who stars as Kelso in Fox’s sitcom That ’70s Show, is starring in a handful of upcoming feature pics, including My Boss’s Daughter, The Butterfly Effect and Cheaper by the Dozen. His next project is the period thriller The Woods for director M. Night Shyamalan. Set in 1897, the film is about a close-knit community living in fear with the knowledge that a mythical race of creatures resides in the woods around them.

Kutcher‘s love life has also made headlines recently. He was previously involved with his Just Married co-star Brittany Murphy and is now reportedly dating 40-year-old actress Demi Moore–15 years his senior.
