Kylie Minogue: ‘Work was a factor in love split’

Unlucky-in-love pop star Kylie Minogue has confessed her crippling work schedule was a major factor in her split from Andres Velencoso. The Spinning Around hitmaker parted from the Spanish model in October (13) after five years together, sparking rumours her love life had once again fallen victim to her punishing workload.
Now the Australian star has spoken out to confirm her career was a factor in the split, but insists there were other issues to blame as well.
Minogue tells Britain’s Style magazine, “Work was definitely an aspect of it, but it wasn’t just that. I had a great number of years with him, and he’s a really good, good guy… I hate being boxed in. In tight clothes, tight relationships. I need to feel free in my mind. Not to go anywhere, because I’m a serial monogamist, but put a little box around me and I’ll be like a wild horse.”
The singer, 45, has never married or had children but has left a string of failed relationships in her wake, including with tragic INXS rocker Michael Hutchence, French actor Olivier Martinez, and fellow Australian star Jason Donovan.
