Lake Bell confirms she’s expecting second child by debuting baby bump

Lake Bell is pregnant with her second child.
The Man Up star confirmed that she and husband Scott Campbell are expanding their brood with another addition as she debuted her burgeoning bump in a clinging black dress at the AG + Vanity Fair Opening of Saved in Los Angeles on Thursday night (08Dec16).
Lake and Scott are already parents to two-year-old daughter Nova.
The 37-year-old actress is most well known for her work on screen but is also enjoying huge success as a writer, director and producer.
Speaking shortly after welcoming Nova into the world, Lake explained to The Frame that becoming a mother has definitely changed the way she works and her approach to her craft.
“Before my daughter, I definitely was a workaholic. And I still am, and that’s a part of the texture of who I am, but I had no idea that I would consider my daughter in every breath that I take,” she smiled. “That can be exhausting, certainly, and I understand that it’s not even sustainable.”
Lake added that balancing motherhood with her various professional pursuits takes a great deal of time. But if she didn’t sleep, the actress joked she would have enough time for all her ventures.
“I consider making movies a great privilege, and I also wanted to start a family. So those two things came at the same time, and there are only so many hours in the day,” she continued. “I often joke that women would do a lot better if we had clones of ourselves or we could exist in alternate realities simultaneously, or just not sleep. If I didn’t sleep, that would really alleviate a lot of my problems, because I could just write through the night.”
