R&B star Larry Blackmon has been threatened with legal action after allegedly failing to keep up with rent payments on his Atlanta, Georgia home, and trashing the place before he was evicted. Landlords at the National Lender Services (NLS) claim the Cameo frontman racked up debts of $6,000 (£3,529) before he was recently served with eviction papers.
The Candy hitmaker moved out of the pad in early July (14), but NLS officials have accused Blackmon of causing an estimated $10,000 (£5,882) of damage to the home, leaving behind ruined carpets, holes in walls, broken appliances and dog faeces on the deck, according to TMZ.com.
The 58-year-old singer has yet to respond to the allegations.
