LeAnn Rimes’ worries over conception

Country star Leann Rimes is exploring her family planning options with husband Eddie Cibrian because she worries she will have trouble conceiving, like her mother. The How Do I Live hitmaker is already a stepmum to Cibrian’s two sons with ex-wife Brandi Glanville, but Rimes is hoping to have children of her own.
She tells People.com, “Whenever I talk about kids, I’m like, ‘Let’s have one!’ I have a lot of work to do now but I’m totally ready if it happens.”
However, the 30 year old admits she might have to turn to adoption or rely on a surrogate to become a mum, explaining, “It took my mum 12 years to have me. I hope I don’t have that (issue) but if I do, then a surrogate is something I’ve thought about. Eddie and I have also talked about adopting. My capacity to love a child doesn’t stop at my own eggs, obviously!”
And when the time comes, she’s holding out hope for a girl to even out their household: “Testosterone is all around here so I need a little girl!”
