Liam Gallagher considering another plane hop to join brother Noel at Manchester show

Liam Gallagher is making tentative plans to join estranged brother Noel on the bill at the Manchester Arena reopening concert next month (Sep17).
Although talk of an Oasis reunion seems a little premature, the feuding Gallaghers could find themselves sharing a stage – if Liam can get home to his native Manchester from Spain after a gig on the same day.
His brother is headlining the show, which will serve as the first gig at the arena since the bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in May (17), and Liam could be there after surprising fans with a short set at Grande’s One Love Manchester charity concert in June (17).
Liam is already booked to perform in Spain on 9 September (17) – the night of the arena show, but he has hinted on Twitter that he’s thinking of trying to make both shows.
“I would love to play that gig in MCR (Manchester) on sept 9th but I’m afraid I’m playing in Spain saying that though it’s only a hop skip n a jump…”
Liam previously slammed his brother Noel for failing to join him on stage at the One Love concert in June (17).
The day after the big gig, Liam took to Twitter and wrote: “Manchester id (sic) like to apologise for my brothers (sic) absence last night very disappointed stay beautiful stay safe.”
Without Noel, Liam, 44, performed two Oasis hits, Rock ‘n’ Roll Star and Live Forever, which he sang alongside Coldplay’s Chris Martin on guitar as a tribute to the 22 people who died in the terror attack at the arena.
Slamming his brother for failing to fly back to Manchester to appear, he added, “Noels (sic) out of the f**king country weren’t we all love get on a f**king plane and play your tunes for the kids you sad f**k.”
The Wonderwall singer flew back to Manchester from a gig in Germany.
In a recent interview Liam said that he missed performing with his brother but that the band reuniting for the first time since their acrimonious 2009 split was an unlikely prospect.
“I can’t see it (reunion) happening,” he told the Observer. “Never say never, I guess, but at the moment, if I get up and running on this solo thing, it certainly won’t happen for a bit because there have been plenty of times that it could have happened and it should have happened and it didn’t. I’d like it to happen, because I miss him and I miss the band and I miss the fans and I miss singing them songs.”
