Lil Wayne planning two albums for 2014

Rapper Lil Wayne is splitting his forthcoming Tha Carter V release into multiple projects and plans to unveil two full albums of new material by the end of the year (14). The Lollipop hitmaker, who recently declared his upcoming 11th album would be his last solo effort, revealed the news during the latest instalment of his weekly YouTube.com series Weezy Wednesdays, insisting devotees deserved to hear what he’s been working on because it’s been over a year since he unveiled his last project, I Am Not a Human Being II.
Wayne said, “This year, not only will I be dropping Tha Carter V, but I’m dropping two albums. Be looking forward to two albums, two albums from me because… I been out the game for a second (sic).”
The hip-hop star admits he has recorded enough tracks to fill a slew of albums, so he is planning to deliver the project in multiple parts.
He explained, “So it’s like either Carter V gonna be 93 songs, or we’re gonna have to figure this out (sic).
“So what we said was, ‘All right, we’re going to drop two albums this year, then we’re going to probably end up dropping, like, seven next year.'”
Wayne, 31, plans to continue making guest appearances on other artists’ tracks once he retires from his solo career and wants to focus on running his own label, Young Money Entertainment.
