Lil Yachty ‘in talks’ to join WWE

Rapper Lil Yachty has held meetings with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) executives about taking a role with the organisation.
The 19-year-old hip-hop star is a huge wrestling fan and has been in talks to make appearances at WWE shows.
“I took a meeting with WWE, yeah, not too long ago,” he told a reporter from TMZ.com in a filmed interview. “Not an actual character, but I’m trying to do a few special appearances.”
Yachty, real name Miles Parks McCollum, explained that although discussions were at an early stage, he hoped to appear at a wrestling event soon.
“We had the first meeting, we’re just trying to get things in order but in time, you never know I might pop up,” he added.
Although the rapper revealed that he believed Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin were the greatest wrestlers, he revealed his favourite WWE superstar is Jeff Hardy.
During the video interview Yachty was wearing a T-shirt featuring Jeff and his brother and wrestling tag-team partner Matt.
Other rappers to have appeared at WWE events include Snoop Dogg, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Wiz Khalifa.
