Linda Perhacs axes European tour after bad fall

Cult folk star Linda Perhacs has scrapped her upcoming European tour after re-injuring her neck in a nasty fall earlier this month (May14). The If You Were My Man singer was due to kick off the trek in the U.K. next week (begs02Jun14), but she recently suffered a painful fall which landed her in the hospital.
The incident aggravated old ailments she had had corrected with neck surgery in 2007 and now she is facing more treatment in order to regain full use of her neck.
Alerting fans to the tour cancellation in a post online, the California-based star writes, “I apologize deeply to all of you for having to cancel the European Tour, but in mid May, 2014, I took a bad fall which resulted in a return of some of the neck problems I had prior to my neck surgery in 2007…
“Once again I apologize to all of you, but singing, as well as the movement to my arms, is involved here and is the reason I had to cancel any extensive travel at this time and review all of this with my physicians.”
