Lindsay Lohan unhappy with rehab facility

Lindsay Lohan walked out of rehab shortly after checking in because she was “not happy with the place,” according to her father. The Mean Girls star risked arrest by leaving the Morningside Recovery treatment centre in California, where she was due to begin a 90-day court-ordered stint on Thursday (02May13), just an hour after enrolling.
Lohan allegedly violated her probation by quitting rehab and risked a warrant being issued for her arrest, according to California prosecutors.
The actress’ father Michael has now spoken out about his daughter’s decision to leave the facility, revealing she did not feel comfortable there, telling CNN.com, “She was not happy with the place.”
Michael has also revealed the star was planning to board a plane back to her native New York after leaving the facility, but he ordered her to stay in California.
He tells the New York Daily News, “The prosecutor called me to get in touch with Lindsay, who was headed to get on a flight to New York. I stopped her from getting on and told her she’d be arrested in New York. She said, ‘Daddy, how can they arrest me?’ I got her just before she left.”
Lohan’s lawyer had to go to court in L.A. early on Thursday to ask officials overseeing Lohan’s case to approve the Morningside Recovery centre, following a last-minute change of plan over where the actress would spend her stay.
The star was ordered to spend 90 days receiving treatment at a court-approved rehab facility after pleading no contest to charges stemming from a car crash in California last summer (12). The punishment was handed out in lieu of a jail sentence, but Lohan is reportedly risking another stint behind bars if she fails to co-operate with the court.
