Lisa Marie Presley slammed by estranged husband over debt claims

Lisa Marie Presley has been slammed by her estranged husband Michael Lockwood, who claims she is lying about her huge debts.
Earlier this month (Feb18), the daughter of Elvis Presley revealed she owes unpaid taxes from 2012 to 2015, totalling more than $10 million (£7.1 million).
According to TMZ, Presley is also attempting to offload a home in the U.K. because she has reportedly defaulted on the mortgage and owes $6 million (£4.3 million). She also has unpaid credit card debt and attorneys’ fees she has yet to take care of.
Presley is locked in a bitter divorce battle with Lockwood, and he filed a counter-claim on Friday (23Feb18), disputing his estranged wife’s money woes.
The gossip website reports Presley claimed to be making $104,000 (£75,000) per month in 2016, but also claimed she owed taxes to the tune of $1.67 million (£1.1 million).
Lockwood stated in the court documents that those figures would mean she owes more than she made in income that year.
According to the papers obtained by TMZ, Presley also allegedly fudged her numbers when she included the property in the U.K. she owns.
Lockwood is also insisting his estranged wife pays his legal fees, totalling $450,000 (£322,000).
Presley and Lockwood wed in 2006 and share twin nine-year-old daughters, but separated in 2016.
