LL Cool J adapting Brotherhood for U.S. TV

Ll Cool J is developing a version of U.K. TV show Brotherhood for America.
The rapper, actor and TV host will be stepping behind the camera to produce the adaptation for the CBS network, reports Variety.
The original series follows two siblings who move in together to raise their 10-year-old brother following the death of their mother.
LL Cool J will work alongside executive producer Michael Borkow, who is best known for his work on Friends, Malcolm in the Middle and Mom.
Brotherhood, which is reported to be in early stages of development, marks LL Cool J’s first-ever executive producer credit, and the first scripted series he has worked on as a producer. He is a producer and host of Spike TV’s contest show Lip Sync Battle.
