Lowlands Festival gig is ‘the end of the road’ for The Good, The Bad & The Queen

Damon Albarn and Paul Simonon’s band The Good, The Bad & The Queen have played their final show.
The former Blur star made the announcement towards the end of the group’s Lowland Festival gig in Holland on Friday (16Aug19).
“This is our last gig,” Albarn told the audience. “After this, poof! Done!”
The message was relayed on the group’s Twitter page just before the show in a message that read: “THE END OF THE ROAD! Tonight, @Rapid_Razor_Bob, the finale. Who’s with us?”
But a note on the group’s Instagram story page suggested it was merely the “last show of the tour”.
Albarn and company have yet to clarify his remarks.
The Good, The Bad & The Queen’s current line-up also features The Verve’s Simon Tong and Afrobeat legend Tony Allen. They reunited last year (18) and released their second album, Merrie Land.
