Luke Evans and Dominic Cooper Taking on The Grand Tour’s Celebrity Challenge

Luke Evans, Dominic Cooper and Kiefer Sutherland are among the stars hoping to impress with their driving skills in the second series of Amazon show The Grand Tour.

The program, fronted by former Top Gear stars Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, will return to screens next month (Dec17), and with it brings a whole host of new famous faces taking on the Celebrity Face Off challenge.

The first episode will see former Baywatch hunk David Hasselhoff take on Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson on the race track, with David admitting: “I’m basically an actor, I’m not really a good driver but I just look good doing it.”

Ricky took things slightly more seriously, saying of his involvement in the contest: “I’m fiercely competitive and whilst I don’t know the results yet, it’s OK if Hasselhoff beats me because he’s my hero. I really enjoyed it and I hope it looks as good on TV as it felt being in the car.”

Actor Hugh Bonneville, singers Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, magician Dynamo, former England cricket captain Kevin Pietersen and golf legend Rory McIlroy are the other names who will be taking part in the challenge during the series, which premieres on Amazon Prime Video on 8 December.
