Lulu stunted by early music career

Scottish singer Lulu was left emotionally stunted after starting her music career at the tender age of 12. The 64-year-old star insists having no education and staying away from her parents at such a young age was too much to handle.
She tells Britain’s Saga magazine, “It was both terrifying and exciting… I was singing non stop but when I went to bed I’d cry because I missed my mummy and daddy.
“I literally stopped going to school when I was 13. I wouldn’t want my granddaughter to do it at such a young age. I think I am emotionally stunted as a result.”
