Madonna extends number one record on U.S. Dance Club Songs chart

Madonna has extended her record as the most successful artist on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart by landing her 48th number one.
I Rise has topped the new countdown, putting her 15 number ones ahead of second-placed Rihanna, who has 11 more chart-topping hits than Beyonce, with 22.
I Rise, which was remixed by DJ Tracy Young, becomes Madonna’s second number one on the countdown from her Madame X album, following the success of Medellin with Maluma.
It’s also the 61-year-old’s eighth consecutive Dance Club Songs chart-topper.
Her first number one was Holiday/Lucky Star, which spent five weeks at number one in 1983. She followed that with Like A Virgin in 1984 and Material Girl and Angel/Into the Groove in 1985.
