Madonna’s ‘Music’ Makes Big Move

Madonna‘s “Music” is movin’ on up. The Queen of Music’s latest single made a giant leap, 12 slots to be exact, to the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart. The hip-hop flavored ditty shot up right behind Janet Jackson‘s “Doesn’t Really Matter,” which has been at the No. 1 spot for the past three weeks.

“Music” also made a jump on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart from No. 10 to the No. 1 spot, knocking off “Let’s Get Married” by Jagged Edge. Others artists continued to creep up the charts this week, including Christina Aguilera’s “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)” (from No. 23 to No. 18) and Next’s “Wifey” (from No. 8 to No. 7).

’N SYNC’S ’N-VITE: The chart-topping, superpopular boy band ’N Sync have been selected to perform at the inaugural Latin Grammy Awards show, which will be televised Sept. 13 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
