House Of Cards and Luke Cage star Mahershala Ali is preparing to become a father for the first time.
The actor, who is tipped to land an Oscar nomination for his role in critically-acclaimed new drama Moonlight, took to Instagram on Thursday (01Dec16) to share a sweet black and white photo of himself and his wife Amatus Sami-Karim, who is pictured cupping her bulging belly.
He simply captioned the image, “Amatus~Sami”, in reference to his wife of three years.
Amatus hinted at her pregnancy at the Emmy Awards in September (16), when she showed off a fuller figure as she joined Mahershala on the red carpet.
The baby will be the couple’s first.
