Malin Akerman prepares belly for all-day ‘Thanksgiving buffet’

Actress Malin Akerman has flown to the U.S. to celebrate Thanksgiving with her American friends so she can partake in a all-day festive “buffet”.
The Billions star lives in Canada and is Swedish by heritage, but she jets to the States often to celebrate the annual holiday, just so that she can eat what she wants with impunity.
“The funny thing is, it’s just like going to a buffet,” she told Bravo. “You’re so excited, and then you get there, and one plate in, you’re full, because it’s not like you do that every day. You have to wait a few hours, and you go again.
“It’s just nice. I just enjoy sitting around a table for a while and just picking at things. But, yeah, I let myself go at it.”
Malin has taken her son Sebastian along with her fiance Jack Donnelly to have a Thanksgiving feast with friends on an idyllic island just off the coast of Massachusetts.
“We’re going to see friends of ours on Martha’s Vineyard,” she shared. “One of my best friends has a little boy, who is my godson now. We’re going to go and see them. We haven’t seen them since the summer.”
However, Malin doesn’t plan on helping her friend in the kitchen in any capacity.
“No!” she exclaimed when asked if she would be cooking anything.
“I eat everything,” she added, before acquiescing with a laugh, “I will maybe be in charge of the green beans. I can do that.”
