Manchester by the Sea leads Gotham Independent Film Awards nominations

Manchester by the Sea is set for a big night at the Gotham Independent Film Awards next month (Nov16) after landing four nominations.
The film, which stars Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams, is up for Best Feature alongside Certain Women, Moonlight, Paterson, and Everybody Wants Some.
Affleck is up for Best Actor with Jeff Bridges for Hell or High Water, Adam Driver for Paterson, Joel Edgerton for Loving, and Craig Robinson for Morris from America.
In the Best Actress category, Love & Friendship’s Kate Beckinsale, 20th Century Women’s Annette Bening, Elle’s Isabelle Huppert, Loving’s Ruth Negga, and Jackie’s Natalie Portman will battle it out for the award.
The Gotham Awards will take place on 28 November (16) at New York City’s Cipriani Wall Street.
