Marc Jacobs is engaged to his boyfriend Charly Defrancesco.
The fashion designer and his candlemaker beau enjoyed a dinner at Mexican restaurant Chipotle on Wednesday night (04Apr18), however, Jacobs had a series of surprises for Charly up his sleeve.
Following their meal, a group of dancers entered the venue and performed a routine set to Prince song Kiss, and the style star proceeded to get down on one knee and pop the question to his partner.
Jacobs‘ proposal was filmed and he later uploaded the footage to his Instagram account.
“And this happened…’Charly Defrancesco will you marry me?’ #flashmobatchipotle #moves,” the 54-year-old captioned the video. “THANK YOU everyone for making this happen. And to my Ride or Die fiance @chardefrancesco I LOVE YOU (heart emoji).”
Though the words of the proposal cannot be heard in the video, Defrancesco was all smiles as he nodded “yes” several times.
The newly-engaged couple currently live together in New York’s West Village.
