Mariah Carey headlining YouTube Christmas special

Mariah Carey is headlining a Christmas special on streaming service YouTube.
The We Belong Together singer will join Ciara, DJ Khaled, and Fifth Harmony on The Keys of Christmas.
Alex Aiono, Boyce Avenue, Nicky Jam, Bebe Rexha, and Gregory Brothers will also perform, while former boxer Mike Tyson will also make an appearance.
“Music is wildly popular on YouTube and we’re excited to bring together some of the biggest names in music alongside some of the biggest stars on YouTube,” Ben Relles, head of unscripted for YouTube Originals, says. “The musical icons and rising artists in The Keys of Christmas bring this new holiday tale to life.”
The Keys of Christmas will premiere on 19 December (16).
It will be a busy holiday season for Mariah, who is also headlining Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest in New York City on 31 December (16). The 46-year-old will take to the stage in Times Square before the ball drops, alongside DNCE, country singer Thomas Rhett, and Gloria Estefan, who will be accompanied by the cast of her Broadway musical On Your Feet!
Mariah, who considers herself the queen of the holidays, last performed at the show in 2005.
The performance will cap a rough year for the singer, who finalised her divorce from ex-husband Nick Cannon and split from her now-former fiance James Packer in September (16).
She’ll be hoping to start off 2017 with a new romance after reportedly embarking on a relationship with back-up dancer Bryan Tanaka.
