Mariah Carey set for sky-high New York gig

MARIAH CAREY will launch the 1 World Trade Center observatory on Thursday night (28May15) with a sky-high gig in New York.
The diva, who wrapped up the first leg of her Las Vegas residency on Sunday (24May15), is scheduled to perform her new song Infinity at a gala 1,300 feet (396 meters) above street level.
The new observatory will open to the public on Friday (29May15).
Carey will return to Las Vegas for the next leg of her residency shows in July (15).
