Singer/actress Marie Osmond has become a grandmother for the first time – her son welcomed a baby boy on Wednesday (18Dec13). The veteran entertainer is overjoyed with the early Christmas present and took to Twitter.com to share the news of the new addition to her son Stephen Craig and his wife Claire’s family.
Osmond wrote, “Hey everyone… I just became a GRANDMA!!!!!!!! It’s a boy!”
Craig is Osmond’s eldest son and only child with husband Stephen Craig Sr. The couple divorced in 1985, only to reconcile and remarry in 2011.
Osmond has two biological children and five adopted children with ex-husband Brian Blosil, from whom she split in 2007.
