Marilyn Monroe collection on sale

Much of Marilyn Monroe‘s personal collection–including clothes, jewelry and accessories–went on sale Wednesday at the Bel Air Gallery in London, and fans and collectors are expected to spend a plentiful amount of money for the items.

Among the collection is a black, lacy bustier worn by Monroe in the film Some Like It Hot, Reuters reports. Exhibit director Tony Wynbourne purchased it from Monroe‘s New York neighbor Elaine Barrymore and is now selling it for about 8,500 pounds (about $12,800).

Wearing the black beauty isn’t an option, though. The new owner will get the lingerie framed with a letter of authenticity from Barrymore.

A William Travilla white cocktail dress, designed for the film There’s No Business Like Show Business, is also available, although the scene in which Monroe wore the dress was cut from the film. It is priced at 9,500 pounds.

Other items include four pairs of crystal ball earrings, which start at 2,200 pounds, and a pair of sunglasses for the pretty price of 5,000 pounds.

The exhibit runs through March 17.
