Marion Cotillard Hilariously Shares Michael Fassbender’s Worst Habit

Michael Fassbender gets so loud when he exercises his co-star Marion Cotillard wonders if he’s doing “something else”.

The two stars first appeared together in 2015’s Macbeth, based on the dark tale by Shakespeare, and they’ve reunited once more on the upcoming fantasy film Assassin’s Creed. Based on the popular video game, Michael plays a man who experiences the adventures of his ancestors thanks to groundbreaking technology, while Marion portrays the lead doctor of the project.

During an appearance on TV show The Project on Monday (28Nov16), Marion admitted that while the pair got along during their latest production, there’s one thing about her colleague that bugs her.

“He works out a lot. And he’s very vocal,” she grinned. “And sometimes you don’t even know if he’s actually working out or doing something else. Sometimes I was yelling, ‘Stop it now.'”

Without denying the suggestions Marion was making, Michael cheekily responded with: “They’re all calorie burners.”

The 12 Years a Slave star also acts as producer on the project, though recently he admitted he hadn’t actually played the popular video game until after he was cast. But before he became an actor, Michael did enjoy playing a racing video game after working the nightshift at a mundane job where he was tasked with unloading boxes.

“I’d get obsessive about it and sit there for six hours straight,” he recalled to Los Angeles Times.

The 39-year-old actor has also discussed how he handled the gravity-defying moves required throughout the action movie, joking he started by learning the “roly poly”, also known as the forward roll.

“No, basically I did as much parkour training as I could in a short time, then just general sort of fitness levels,” he smiled.
