Mark Salling’s alleged rape victim is upset the tragic actor “took the coward’s way out” and committed suicide instead of facing his problems.

The 35-year-old former Glee star hanged himself last month (Jan18), while awaiting sentencing for possession of child pornography charges – relating to a police raid on his home in California back in 2015, and now the woman who accused the late star of raping her while they were dating six years ago has spoken about his death.

Jennie Marie Pacelli, who stayed with Salling after the alleged sexual assault, claims Mark apologized to her in 2016 and she forgave him, but she’s convinced her ex was addicted to sex.

She just wishes he would have dealt with his issues in therapy before taking his life. “I’m sad he took the coward’s way out rather than facing his problems,” she tells Life & Style magazine.

“He probably didn’t want to do the time because he could’ve been killed or abused in jail and just figured he would end it (himself),” former friend Jessica Savano tells the publication. “(He was) a tormented soul (and had) a mysterious side. (He could be) quiet and closed off.”

Another Salling pal, Randy Saab, claims the late actor was “ashamed” of his crimes and he is “sad” he felt he had no way out.

“I wish there was something anybody could’ve done to prevent him from going to the extreme of taking his own life, but he was going to do what he was going to do,” he says. “It just makes me sad that it had to come to that.”

“I’m just so mad at him,” Jennie adds. “I can’t believe he’s done this.”
