Acclaimed director Martin Scorsese is launching his first ever online film class.
The class will be hosted through online education start-up MasterClass next year (18). The course will cost $90, which will provide full access to more than 20 video lessons.
The course materials will include a downloadable workbook with lesson recaps and other supplemental material, while students will also be able to submit questions to The Wolf of Wall Street director, who will personally respond and give feedback, according to Variety.com.
“I was excited by this project because it gave me a chance to pass down my own inspirations and experiences and practices and evolutions, not as a blueprint for how to make movies but as a guidepost, an offering to young people attempting to find their own way,” reads a statement from Scorsese.
MasterClass was launched in 2015 and has featured classes from Christina Aguilera, Kevin Spacey, Dustin Hoffman, and Steve Martin.
