Mary J. Blige in gig rush after storm grounds plane

R&B superstar Mary J. Blige was left grounded on Thursday (03Jul14) when a storm prevented her flight from taking off. The No More Drama hitmaker boarded a private jet to fly her to Alabama for a show at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater but was left waiting on the runway after bad weather hit New York.
The pilot was eventually given the green-light to take off, and Blige warned fans of the delay on Twitter.com.
She writes, “We had a slight delay. They grounded us due to a bad storm. We are back at it and about to take off now. #SeeYouSoon #alabama #Tuscaloosa #ShowTonight!!”
