Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow share Friends regrets

Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow wish they had spoken up and fought for more series of Friends when the team behind the hugely popular sitcom ended it in 2004. The show ran for 10 seasons and is often voted the most beloved U.S. comedy show of all time, while making household names of its stars, Perry, Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc.
The pair, who played Chandler Bing and Phoebe Buffay, got nostalgic during a chat on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, for which Perry is acting as guest host, and admitted they would have loved to have carried on with the show for longer.
Perry said, “I find myself reminiscing about how much fun the show was, how many hours we worked and how much we laughed. And If I had a time machine, I would like to go back to 2004 and not have stopped… In that meeting where we all went, ‘Let’s stop’ I would have probably said, ‘Hey, let’s not stop.'”
Kudrow agreed, adding, “If it were up to us, you know, individually, then yeah. I would keep going … We had a lot of fun.”
