Meek Mill ordered to attend etiquette classes

A U.S. judge has ordered rapper Meek Mill to attend etiquette classes and notify his probation officer each time he plans to leave his home state of Pennsylvania. The Ima Boss hitmaker, real name Robert Williams, is currently serving five years probation after he was convicted of weapons and drugs charges in 2008, and on Friday (28Jun13) he arrived at a Philadelphia court house for a violation status hearing following allegations he has been neglecting to inform his parole officer of his whereabouts.
Judge Genece E. Brinkley ordered the 26 year old to seek permission from probation officer Treas Underwood before making any travel arrangements. He must also enrol in etiquette classes to improve his social networking behaviour.
The latest punishment comes after some of the hip-hop star’s fans made threats against Underwood upon reading Williams’ Twitter.com posts.
The rapper has until 4 August (13) to complete the courses, according to local publication The Philadelphia Inquirer.
