Melody’s Echo Chamber star grateful for fans’ support after accident

French musician Melody Prochet has broken her social media silence to thank fans for their support after she was hospitalised following a “serious accident” in June (17).
The pop singer, who performs under the name Melody’s Echo Chamber, had to cancel her autumn (17) tour plans after the mystery incident, which her relatives revealed would require a prolonged stay in care under doctors’ supervision.
A statement issued on Melody’s Facebook page by her family read: “We are optimistic (about her recovery), but she needs to be in the hospital for a few more months. She is hopeful to be able to play shows again soon.”
Melody has since shared a new post with fans, her first update since the accident, expressing her gratitude for all the well wishes.
Alongside a photo of the star outdoors, smiling and saluting for the camera, she writes, “Dear friends, a million Merci (thank yous) for all the support letters and love… Goodness health love and peace of mind to you all… Melody”.
The musician has yet to reveal plans to return to the stage.
Her axed tour had been launched in support of her sophomore album Bon Voyage, her first solo studio project in five years, which was put on hold following her hospitalisation.
