Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon have signed on to star in the adaptation of classic sci-fi novel Fahrenheit 451.

Shannon will reunite with his 99 Homes director Ramin Bahrani on the project. Bahrani also co-wrote the script with Amir Naderi and is executive producing the TV movie, which will air on American network HBO.

Fahrenheit 451 was written by Ray Bradbury in 1953 and centers on a dystopian society where books are outlawed and burned by “firemen.”
