Director Michael Bay reportedly called the police this week (beg13Mar17) over fears of an intruder at his property.

The Transformers moviemaker reportedly called the cops because he was convinced somebody was trespassing on the grounds of his lavish 30,000-square-foot mansion in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Bel-Air, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

A resident told the website Bay, 52, believed the intruder had snuck on to his property and posed an “imminent danger” to him.

The officers responded in force, with half a dozen LAPD squad cars and two police helicopters reporting to the scene. His neighbors, which include Meg Ryan, Jennifer Aniston and Elon Musk, were reportedly woken up by the commotion, the circling helicopters and their bright searchlights, which were used to patrol the area.

Despite the heavy police presence, no intruder was found.

Bay is currently finishing up his Transformers sequel The Last Knight, which is due to hit cinemas in June (17).
