Mike Fisher dismisses Carrie Underwood marriage trouble

Carrie Underwood’s sportsman husband Mike Fisher has silenced rumours suggesting the couple’s marriage is on the rocks.
The country superstar has been laying low in recent months as she continues to recover from a nasty fall at the couple’s Nashville, Tennessee home in November (17), when she shattered her wrist and cut up her her face.
Her absence from the public eye prompted unfounded tabloid rumours alleging Carrie and the ice hockey ace were facing the possibility of a break-up, and fans were quick to send prayers after Mike shared a passage from the Bible on Instagram.
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts,” read the Psalm 139 verse, posted earlier this week (begs19Feb18). “See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
“Praying for you and Carrie,” one woman wrote, referencing the split speculation. “Ignore the media! Hold tight to each other. There are always bumps in the road. Keep focusing on Jesus! He will guide you thru (sic)!”
Mike has since dismissed the gossip, replying to the well-wisher by posting, “We’ve never been better. Thanks.”
The couple wed in 2010 and shares son Isaiah, who turns three next week (27Feb18).
Mike’s Instagram post came days after Carrie shared a snap of the father and son duo crashing her exercise session.
“My boys make work outs fun (and a bit less productive, but that’s ok)!” she captioned the pictures.
The stars have been making the most of their family time while Carrie recovers, especially as Mike prepares to cut short his retirement plans and return to the National Hockey League. He stepped away from the sport in August (17), after leading the Nashville Predators to their first Stanley Cup Finals, but announced his comeback plans in late January (18).
