Faith No More star Mike Patton missed a Dead Cross date in Los Angeles on Monday night (21Aug17) after a skateboarding accident.
The rocker had to pull out of a gig at the El Rey theatre with his side project after a “minor accident” on his board as he made his way to the gig.
Bandmates Mike Crain and Dave Lombardo took the stage to tell fans the singer was “unable to be here tonight”, adding, “He’s hurt”.
The rock supergroup is planning to stage a make-up gig at the same venue on Tuesday night (22Aug17).
“Patton is OK,” the band’s publicist says. “He is getting stitched up and is raring to go. He thought he could skateboard to the show last night but he suffered a bad wipeout on the way.”
