The 14 year old, who plays Alex Dunphy on the Emmy Award-winning show, attended a legal hearing on 3 October (12) to outline claims her mother Crystal Workman was physically and emotionally abusive, and the actress’ elder sister Shanelle was subsequently granted temporary guardianship.
According to TMZ.com, the actress also obtained a protective order against her mum, which will remain in effect until their next court hearing, set for 20 November (12).
