The model welcomed son Brooks Alan via C-section on 19 June (12), but Sims confesses that was not her first choice – it was just the best thing for her child.
Sharing the first snaps of the infant with Us Weekly magazine, she says, “I wanted to do it naturally but there was a problem with the umbilical cord, so I had to have a C-section. It’s definitely scary because you have to go into an operating room – I walked in and then right back out.”
The little boy is now happy and healthy and Sims admits he is already starting to look like her producer husband Scott Stuber.
She says, “He definitely has Scott’s lips and I think he has his hairline. He has a little hair on his back, too. Scott hates it, but I call it his fur.
“And he was born with a tooth! It’s made breast-feeding awesome. I call him my little catfish.”
