The Ghost star, and former wife of Bruce Willis, confirmed her six-year union to Kutcher was over in November (11) following weeks of speculation about the status of their relationship.
Now she has spoken out about her emotions for the first time, admitting she fears that after two broken marriages, she may never find her ideal man.
Moore tells Harper’s Bazaar, “What scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m not really loveable, that I’m not worthy of being loved. That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me… The fight against gravity for me is to find that love for myself that gives me the courage to reach my fullest potential.”
The actress also admits she was crushed by the breakdown of her marriage but she’s slowly recovering from her heartache, adding, “I used to think that what scared me was the idea of being abandoned until someone said to me, ‘Only children can be abandoned. Adults can’t be abandoned because we have a choice.'”
The beauty is now on the mend and, offering up her greatest words of wisdom from a pal, she says, “Somebody wrote something to me that said, ‘Don’t let your wounds become someone you’re not.’ That’s really powerful.”
