Motley Crue play ‘raw and dirty’ gig after plane delay

Rockers MOTLEY CRUE had to perform a “stripped down” version of their usual pyrotechnic-filled show in California on Saturday (25Jul15) after serious plane problems delayed the arrival of the band’s production equipment.
The Girls Girls Girls hitmakers had to push back the start time of the Paso Robles gig from 7.30pm local time until 10pm after severe issues with their plane resulted in a late departure from Seattle, Washington, where they had performed the night before (24Jul15).
The stars kept fans updated on the situation via Twitter.com, and bassist Nikki Sixx vowed to play the gig with or without their usual production gear.
He tweeted, “SADLY we have had major plane problems and just arrived minus our production but we are playing anyway.Raw & dirty.”
The event, a double-header with Alice Cooper, went off without further problems, and Sixx later returned to the social networking site to thank their road crew for helping to pull off the gig.
He posted, “A show that could’ve been cancelled cause we couldn’t get our show up was SAVED by our Crew.THANK YOU GUYS. IT ROCKED…Stripped down”.
