Movie and TV star Tim Rossovich dead at 72

U.S. sportsman-turned-actor Tim Rossovich has died, aged 72.
The former Philadelphia Eagles and San Diego Chargers star succumbed to a long illness on Thursday (06Dec18).
Rossovich was on the same University of Southern California team as O.J. Simpson in the late 1960s and roomed with Tom Selleck, before becoming a sports professional with the Eagles.
Following his football career, he turned to Hollywood and became Burt Reynolds’ stunt double in the film Hooper. He also appeared in TV shows The A-Team, Remington Steele, MacGyver, and Baywatch, while reteaming with Selleck for three episodes of Magnum, P.I.
His movie roles also included The Main Event and The Sting II.
