Myleene Klass issues public plea to help identify street robber

British pop star-turned-TV presenter Myleene Klass has issued an impassioned plea to the public in a bid to seek justice after her mother and sister were robbed on the streets of London earlier this year (14). The former Hear’Say singer’s 67-year-old mum, Magdalena, and sister Jessie, 33, became the victims of a thief while walking in Wood Green, north London in January (14).
During the violent encounter, the two women were dragged to the ground and assaulted as they attempted to stop the criminal, who eventually fled empty-handed.
Police officials, who have yet to identify the thug, released stills from surveillance footage on Tuesday (08Apr14) in an effort to boost their chances of tracking down the male suspect, and now Klass, was also the victim of a street attack in the British capital in 2005, is urging members of the public to take a close look at the images and contact the cops if they recognise the man, so he can be brought to justice.
She says, “I am horrified by what happened to my mum and sister, as anyone would be if this were a member of their own family, and I urge any person that knows anything or can help in any way to please come forward.”
Detective Constable Pat Dunne adds, “This was a terrifying attack on two women on a main road. I’m confident someone will be able to identify the suspect pictured in the images.”
