Natalie Portman’s children have totally different personalities

Natalie Portman has divulged that her two children have “such different” personalities.
The Black Swan actress and her husband Benjamin Millepied are parents to son Aleph, seven, and 21-month-old daughter Amalia.

While Natalie rarely speaks about her children, she shared a little about them during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (12Dec18).

“I don’t really see it as gender, they’re just such different people,” she smiled. “It doesn’t feel like boy things / girl things, they just feel like such different human beings.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Natalie promoted her new movie Vox Lux, in which she plays a woman who becomes a pop singer following an unusual set of circumstances.

The Oscar-winning star described one of the major concert scenes in the film too, and explained that it was filmed very close to Syosset High School in Syosset, Long Island – where she graduated from in 1999.

“They weirdly opened up a studio around the corner from where I went to high school,” the 37-year-old said. “My guidance counsellor from high school brought her kids and her friends and they were in the audience. So, it was really cool.”

At the conclusion of the chat, Natalie also praised The Tonight Show’s house band, The Roots, describing them as her “teenage dream and my current dream” and participated in a game of Jinx Challenge with Jimmy, in which they each took turns trying to shout a word related to a particular category at the same time to try and “jinx” each other.
