Naughty by Nature members fall out amid Twitter firing

The future of hip-hop trio Naughty By Nature has been thrown into chaos after rapper Treach fired his bandmate Vin Rock on Monday (06May13). The O.P.P. hitmakers appear to have fallen out and Treach made the split public late on Monday (06May13) when he announced his partnership with Rock was no more after 25 years together.
Taking to Twitter.com, he wrote, “Vinnie from NAUGHTY BY NATURE is Officially FIRED!! …F**k him & the Ground he Walks!! Anybody that f**ks with that B**ch a** N**ga Don’t F**k with Me!!”
A representative for Naughty by Nature played down the break-up claims on Tuesday (07May13), but admitted to NJ.com that the band co-founders were not getting along.
Blair ‘Goast’ Bryson says, “Treach is not one to hold his tongue… There’s some internal conflicts going on within the group.”
Meanwhile, Rock has addressed the online firing in his own Twitter post, suggesting Treach doesn’t have the authority to kick him out of the group because he doesn’t own the rights to the Naughty by Nature name.
He writes, “I’m waking to drama. Spoke to my publicist. Silence is Golden. In the meantime Business 101: You can’t Fire the Owner”.
Naughty by Nature’s third member, DJ Kay Gee, has yet to comment on his pals’ war of words and it’s not yet known what impact the fall out will have on the trio’s upcoming tour dates. They are booked to play a series of concerts throughout the summer (13), including a gig in Durham, North Carolina on 18 May (13) and the Roots Picnic festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 1 June (13).
