Veteran singer Neil Diamond has adopted one of the puppies featured in his new music video.
The Sweet Caroline hitmaker contacted staff at animal charity The Humane Society to use some tiny pooches in the promo for his latest love song, Something Blue. However, Diamond got more than he bargained for when he grew attached to Melody, a part-boxer, part-terrier puppy, and chose to adopt her. He tells Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, “She’s ferocious. She’s tiny but she wants to be the boss. My other dogs Poker and Shamrock are being worn out by her.”
