Disney Pixar’s latest movie Coco has become the biggest animated hit in Mexico.

And Mexican movies experts claim the film is closing in on Marvel’s The Avengers as the nation’s biggest release ever.
It has taken in 824 million pesos ($43.1 million) in 19 days. The Avengers grossed 827 million pesos during its entire run.
In the film, a 12-year-old boy travels to The Land of the Dead to meet his late ancestors in a bid to uncover the mystery behind the music ban in his family.
