New Fleetwood Mac album could take seven years

Fleetwood Mac fans are facing a possible seven-year wait for the band’s new album. The group, who are currently on the European leg of their reunion tour, have confirmed they will release an record of new material but drummer and founder Mick Fleetwood admits it could take up to seven years before they are ready to release it.
He tells British radio station Absolute Radio, “I don’t know whether it is five years or seven years or 18 months. I hope that whenever it happens it is done gracefully, and I hope that we show people, not for commercial needs at all, what we can do. The fact we have made an album, I think, would be really important before the thought of closing the shop down.”
